Therefore, always use a drip pan to catch your juices, which you can then make into a gravy or sauce. The spit ring is made of coated steel and the spit and accompanying spit forks are made of stainless steel. The spit is powered for a quiet but powerful 220-240 volt motor that ensures a very even rotation.
