The cookbook Hot Coals is the cookbook for the true kamado barbecuer. Highly recommended if you own a Big Green Egg yourself, or as a gift for another kamado fan. The cookbook provides insight into cooking with this special BBQ as well as the history of this originally Japanese clay oven.
Hot Coals is written by Jeroen Hazebroek and Leonard Elenbaas. Both can be called true experts when it comes to kamado barbecue. Jeroen owns his company Het Kookvuur, through which he provides caterings, demonstrations and workshops on kamados. Leonard is a chef cook and owner of restaurant Pure Passie (in 's-Gravenzande), where he cooks with his Big Green Egg almost every day in the professional restaurant kitchen. They also eat, live and breathe kamado outside their work, making them the perfect persons to put together a cookbook on the subject.
In Hete Kolen, Jeroen and Leonard discuss various techniques when it comes to kamado barbecuing, complemented by over 40 delicious recipes in which these techniques are used. This is complemented by beautiful photos and illustrations, making Hete Kolen a great reference work for any kamado lover.

Prior to delivery, we will make a delivery appointment in consultation with you. You can indicate your preference for a part of the day so you don't have to wait at home all day. You will also receive a call in advance if we are on our way. Nice and easy.
