About Cast Iron.

Clean your cast iron product well after use with warm water and a dishwashing brush. Dry your product well with a tea towel and store it neatly.

All cast-iron products from Petromax are pre-treated several times also known as "seasoning". This provides a kind of natural non-stick coating and prevents rust in many cases. If your product does rust once, no problem, just give it a good scrub with a wire brush, rinse it off and treat it again with Petromax maintenance wax.
