Petromax Cast-iron Waffle Iron

With the Petromax Cast Iron Waffle Iron you bake delicious waffles! For example as a delicious dessert after a sumptuous meal around the fire, or of course just as a tasty snack during lunch or as a snack. The waffle iron can be placed directly in the fire with the cast iron mould, but is of course also suitable for an Atago or simply on another BBQ. Rotate the mould between times for a perfect crispy waffle.

The practical locking hook keeps both sides of the mould firmly pressed together, preventing the dough from spilling out. The long handle with wooden handles also offers the convenience of holding the iron from a distance in, on or above the heat source. As the cast iron retains heat well, the waffle bakes evenly browned. The baking surface is suitable for two 9 x 11 cm waffles. The total length is 72cm (including handles).

All cast-iron products from Petromax are pre-treated several times also known as "seasoning". This provides a kind of natural non-stick coating and prevents rust in many cases. If your product does rust once, no problem, just give it a good scrub with a wire brush, rinse it off and treat it again with Petromax maintenance wax.
